An important note about the Runes! The round runes have the name of the symbol on the run. The dice do not. If you want the names on them you will want to purchase rounds, if you prefer not to have the name on them then dice are a good option!
Using the runes is easy but it can be overwhelming at first if you are using a full beginners set or even all of them. There are roughly 250 pieces in the beginner's rune set. I recommend going slow and learning the symbols a bit.
The beginners set has definitions on all the symbols but there are many that don't have any definition, they are a single with a word only. As you read with them you will start to see patterns with the symbols, and you can use your intuition to decide what they mean to you.
