Baking Soda for arm pits

Healthy Underarm Care

It has taken me many years to figure out the absolute best way to care for my underarms. It sounds stupid, doesn't it? But I don't think I am any different than anyone else, so I decided to share what I have learned about caring for my pits so hopefully someone will find some value in this :)

Stink is the biggest concern, and many people switch to a natural deodorant and find them ineffective for stink, and they will return to the chemical deodorants that contain aluminum.

The trick is baking soda! Keep a jar of baking soda in your shower. When you first get in mix a small hand full with some liquid soap or water and spread it on your under arms. Don't rub it in because its gritty and the under arms are sensitive! let it sit there while you wash your hair or face then rinse it off.

When you get out of the shower use your natural deodorant and your pits will stay stink free! It takes a little bit of time to condition your body completely to the natural so don't give up. In no time you will start to notice that you don't develop an odor as easily as you used to and your perspiration stays down with the deodorant.

It's a great feeling knowing you aren't putting harsh chemicals or aluminum under your arms and still manage to stay sweat and stink free!
