I ordered this for my daughter and was so disappointed with the quality. It doesn't look like sterling silver. The star is very dull and because it's so tiny you can hardly see it. Sterling silver has a brightness that this nose ring does not have. I was embarrassed to have given it to her.
Very interesting review. Diane you purchased 3 items all sterling silver .925. You left this review but did not review the other sterling silver items. It would have been very obvious the item was sterling silver by comparing it to the other 2 items you purchased. Also the listing states 3mm star and yes it is tiny as it is supposed to be. I really like it a lot. This is my second nose bone and I love how they are made with real materials!
I don't think the one-star review below is fair. The product description quite clearly states that the star is small. If you're into that, this is the perfect product - it's well made, fits perfectly, and in my opinion looks cute and dainty. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased 2 star nose studs and some nose hoops. Everything was great except for the silver nose stud. The points of the star were not straight and bend down, poking into my nose. Very uncomfortable. The gold star was fine, I just find that it blends with my skin tone & is not very noticeable.
