I have always wanted to create boxes (and other containers) to hold our little jewelry containers and I finally did on a trip to the woods! It was an amazing trip as it always is and I had a lot of fun creating these cute little boxes while taking in the sights and sounds of nature. It's similar to meditation. Sitting in the woods creating pretty little objects!
hahaha just kidding. It wasn't snowing and it was fall, not winter!
That's more like it! Bella loves the woods too, however she would rather be out hunting for birds and squirrels instead of sitting around with me painting boxes!
I found painting in the woods to be the perfect thing for me. I have a very hard time just sitting, doing nothing and while I'm away (from my daily creativity of making jewelry) soaking up the nature, painting works well for me!
Ok back to the boxes! The small ones will hold 5 of our jewelry containers. You can keep all your tiny hoops or nose rings in one place. Each container is 15mm round and will hold several items and they are easy to see and safer from tarnish in these little air tight containers! We put tarnish strips in the bottom of each one as well to help minimize tarnishing! The best part is it is easy to find what you are looking for!
There are a lot of styles to choose from and they are all one of a kind, once they are sold they are gone for good! Each one is a different theme and different colors. Whatever mood strikes me at the time is what happens on these boxes
This one has a vintage feel to it and I really enjoyed making it. It doesn't feel like fall does it? I guess in my mind it wasn't fall! This one has flowers all over the sides as well as the top.
This one has a zen hippy vibe and I LOVE the colors in it. These won't be easy to part with!
This one is a medium sized and has what I like to call flowey flowers. It reminds me of a stream with flowers floating in it!
I am a jewelry maker, I'm not an expert dot mandala painter but I do love all crafts and I love creating different things. In addition to painting boxes I also create items with clay and polymer clay and even stained glass and slowly but surely we will be adding these items to the page!
Everything you find at Mystic Moon Shop is handmade, either by me, a member of my team or by someone I know! I hope you enjoy all the creative energy!
I realized after writing this blog that I had done a blog about these back awhile ago but I'm doing another one as the first one was just a quick "hey we are making these now" post! This post is much more fun!
