For the last 15 years, we have been making jewelry and jewelry supplies. We enjoy making our little gems and currently don't have plans of not doing it anymore, however we have minimized the items we do make to our most popular items and currently have no plans to make new items.
Behind the scene's we do a lot of things that have nothing to do with jewelry and I have found that I have a passion for natural and organic products.
It all started with some health issues and feeling bad every single day. I understand that getting older has it's challenges, but does it have to? After several years of changes, I can honestly say, no it doesn't! Having aches and pains and poor health is not a part of getting older and there are many people in this world who have proved that. If one person can do it, anyone can.
After an awakening of sorts about our food system and all the toxins in our food we expanded from a small seasonal garden to a 1/4 acre garden, started growing herbs and put in a green house. Learning how to grow, harvest, preserve, save seeds and dry and store herbs.
While I was learning and working on our food I kept thinking about the products we use for personal care and cleaning. I started reading labels and researching the contents like I did with our food and I was horrified at the things I learned. I met a man who sold Melaleuca and thought I would give it a try. I enjoyed the products however they didn't pass my test of pure and natural. Yes, they had "less" than typical grocery store items but that wasn't good enough for me, so I started learning researching and being horrified again with my findings. 
I go into more detail on my videos about these horrifying things if you want more insight. This blog is all about the journey itself. I decided to start learning and buying all the things I needed to create the things I use on a daily basis. I soon found that the whole process is very involved and there is a good deal of time and money needed to create the things I need and as time went on I realized I enjoyed it and wanted to share it with others. Realizing most people don't have the time or desire to get into making their own products, I decided to share my creations.
Nothing I do is something you cannot do yourself with a good amount of time, energy and money but I realize that not everyone wants to put the time and energy into the details they just want to enjoy products that don't contain chemicals, toxins, dye's and toxic scents!
I am excited about this path and although I am far more busy than I want to be I feel it is vital to offer what I have learned and how I have changed my own life, health and happiness. I am proud to say, not only have I changed my health but the health of my loved ones and my dog. My poor dog was developing health issues and her moods and energy levels were terrible and though she is an older dog I didn't think her issues were consistent with her age. She seemed to be aging quicker than she should.
I changed her diet as well and started making her food and treats and in the same way our lives changed, hers did as well. She is now a happy, healthy, full of energy dog! I will at some point be sharing products for our pets as well but I have a long way to get there with all the things I am creating for humans haha
