How To Make Kombucha

Making Kombucha is fun, interesting and easy when you know how! When I began making Kombucha it was a pretty confusing process until I found a Scoby from an online company and it was so much easier!

making a scoby

That was the key to my Kombucha journey and I was so impressed with the whole process I decided I HAD to make them available to others so they could also enjoy kombucha and the amazing health benefits!

I have created a video to show how I make it. Actually this video is just how to make Kombucha, not how to finish it but that video is coming soon too!

  • Half gallon mason jar
  • Half gallon boiled water
  • 5 bags organic black tea (No Oolong or Earl Grey)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (organic cane if possible)
  • 1 coffee filter
  • 1 mason jar ring
